BLIGHT IN GILA COUNTY

Sometimes you just have to laugh. Even then, a picture is worth a thousand words.  Peter Beesley started us
off with blighted properties he's seen lately, but that was just the beginning.  We're continually adding more
starling vistas.  So come back often and scroll down the page.

And add your own shotsby emailing your pictures here.  Make sure to give us the address, so the proper
municipality can get full credit.

Worse when no one rehabs it.

A private junkyard here in town. Who knew?

Could have been a fire, but it's been so long
that it might qualify as a historical landmark.
           But note that marvelous cross-ventilation!

Wait long enough, it could become distressed wood.
(for now the neighbors are distressed at seeing it.)
KQSS is hopelessly surrounded by Central Heights.
And this is the GOOD side of this charmer.  As for the other side....

Here's the view from Big John's control room window.
He particularly loves coming in while it's still dark and having to navigate whatever is left in our driveway.

You may wonder what's behind this overgrowth....                Bad news.. it's worse on the other side.

Perfect for.....  well nothing legal, anyway.                 Rooms flooded with daylight in this charming fixer.

Don't keep it all to yourself.  Share the images burned in your mind (or burned to the ground, we're not fussy).
Email them here and we'll do the rest.
